GLITTER AND GLUE: HEMP AND FAUX-LEATHER BRACELOTS
Join students at the Sexual & Gender Diversity Office and LGBTOUT for relaxed drop-in crafting socials this summer on Wednesdays beginning May 22. Each week, you can meet students and make a little craft, or just stop by and say hi. We will provide all the materials and some light snacks. All you need to bring is your wonderful self!
THIS WEEK: Wednesday May 22, 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm
OUR ACTIVITY: Hemp and Faux-Leather Bracelets
Glitter + Glue is a positive inclusive environment where people can come together, hang out and create regardless of skill level. The weekly event is organized by students through the Sexual & Gender Diversity Office and LGBTOUT. Everyone is welcome. Art can be totally intimidating for people (and so can meeting new people, sometimes!).
We’ve put together a few crafting projects that are easy for your creative side to get started and the conversation flowing. We hope you join in and would also love for you to share any of your crafting passions with us as the summer continues.
Glitter + Glue will take place at 21 Sussex, room 415 and will be hosted by our crafting enthusiast, Orvis, and members of LGBTOUT. The Sexual & Gender Diversity Office is right next door (room 416 & 417) and will be open and hosting drop-in hours during Glitter + Glue for you stop by and chat with staff and get resources.
