CALL OUT FOR WORKSHOPS for Lead with Pride 4

CALL OUT FOR WORKSHOPS for Lead with Pride 4 (February 1 and 2, 2013)

Workshop Submission Deadline: December 4, 2012

The Lead with Pride Symposium is a two-day series of skill development and community building opportunities for LGBTQ students at U of T. This year, the symposium will be held on February 1st and 2nd, 2013. We are currently looking for students, staff and community-based educators to suggest dynamic workshops that will support students in gaining skills, connecting and effecting change.

Following a peer-education model, we are hoping to increase the number of student-facilitated workshops at Lead with Pride. We strongly encourage students to apply. Individuals or groups looking to facilitate a workshop at the symposium should feel comfortable suggesting ideas without having them fully developed. Facilitation training and additional support will be available to all student facilitators prior to Lead with Pride. All facilitators will receive an honorarium or gift for their involvement. The deadline for applications is December 4th, 2012.

The application can be found at:

If you have any questions, please email Scott Clarke at
